Multi Element Flower

Today, I will share this easy technique of creating your very own multi element flower. In my sample above, I've used white vellum and acrylic.

Here are the steps.

1) Run some white vellum through Sizzix machine with Tim Holtz Alterations Tattered Florals die-cut. Also run some Clear Scraps acrylic sheet through the machine with the same die-cut. (Tip: To get more die-cut flowers, simply just fold your vellum sheets and run the layers together. The Tim Holtz Alterations die-cuts can cut through chipboard and grungeboard, therefore, it can definitely cut through more than one layer of vellum.)  

2) Add some details on the die-cut flowers.

On the vellum flowers, you can either ink it's edges with distress ink and stamped on it with solvent ink or you could use a white gel pen to highlight it's edges.

On the acrylic flowers, you can apply some alcohol ink for colours.

3) To create the big multi element flower, simply layer two sets of different element flowers alternately together. Secure it with a brad and detail it with some distress stickles. For a smaller flower, just reduce the number of layers. (Tip: Fold  or bend the petals before attaching them together)
