Fun Clearscraps Ornaments

This is my first project for Clearscraps. I've had so much fun playing with their clear ornaments that comes in different shapes. Below are the Clearscraps Clear Ornaments before I've done anything to them.

Here's a link as to where you can get them.
I've added photographs of my family to it for a little personalization.
Here are the steps to it.

To create this first ornament, just simply follow the steps below.
1) Heat embossed some images of clocks with some gold embossing powder. (Tip: Not to overheat it or put your heating tool too near it. If it curls up, just use a twizzer to push it down while it's still hot).
2) Use a brush and paint some alcohol ink to it. (Butterscotch, Espresso, Oregano, Blending solution). This is the "Distressing Acrylic Embossing and Alcohol Ink" technique.
3) Use some black acrylic paint or solvent ink to stamp some music notes on it.
4) Highlight with Stickles and Liquid Pearls everywhere.
5) Add a brad and button to the center of the embossed clocks. Use some twines to tie around the middle of the ornament. Add a cut out from Hambly Screen Prints Transparency and a photograph to it. (the photograph had been adhered to a chipboard base and the edges had been sealed using a foil tape. Cover the photograph with Sepia Accents) Add some liquid pearls and stickles to both the cut-outs and the photograph.
6) Add an eyelet to the top and finish it off with a ribbon for hanging.

To create this second ornament, just simply follow the steps below.
1) I've used a Hambly Christmas Rub-ons and apply it directly to the clear ornament. Add details to it using some EKSuccess Zig Painty (paint markers), Stickles and liquid pearls.
2) Add a lace on the top and bottom of it. I've added a metal embellishment and a flower on the left of the bottom lace.
3) The photograph had been adhered to chipboard base and covered with Sepia Accents. I've added some liquid pearls to it too.
4) Add an eyelet to the top and tie a ribbon for hanging purposes.

To create this third ornament, simply follow the steps below.
1) Stamped all over the clear ornaments using some alcohol ink. (meadow, oregano, butterscotch, espresso, blending solution and silver mixatives)
2) Stamp some images to it suing some white acrylic paint and highlight it using some Stickles.
3) Add a silver trim to the tip and bottom of it and decorate all over it using liquid pearls and more Stickles.
4) The photograph had been adhered to chipboard and add some liquid pearls to it. I've attached it to a chain using a safety pin and add a small metal key embellishment to it.
5) Add an eyelet to the top and a ribbon for hanging purposes.

To create this last ornament, simply follow the steps below.
1) First, I've used a Masquepen, which is a liquid pen that allows you to draw your own masking template directly onto your project, to draw some swirls on it.
2) Then, I've stamped all over it suing some alcohol ink. (Wild Plum, Cranberry, Butterscotch, Gold Mixatives and Blending Solution)
3) Rub off the masking template and add details to the swirls using some Zig Painty and Stickles. Add a trip in the middle of the ornament.
4) To create the flower, simply cut out a flower from a Hambly Screen Print Transparency and draw around the edges with a black Zig Painty or acrylic paint. Use some liquid pearls and stickles to add some dots all around it. Fold the petals up before attaching it to the ornament. Add a paper flower to it and finish it off with a crystal in the middle.
5) The photograph had been adhered to a chipboard and decorated with liquid pearls. I've also added a small metal butterfly to it.
6) Add an eyelet to the top and ribbon for hanging purposes.
These are such fun small projects to do. So, personalize some clear ornaments for your tree this year!
